Welcome to AsedaHost. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to comply with the following terms. These terms ensure a safe, transparent, and secure event management and participation experience.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing dashboards, or initiating event participation, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions, including linked policies.

1.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old or have legal capacity in your jurisdiction. Organizers acting on behalf of entities confirm they are authorized to bind those entities.

1.2 Updates

We may update these terms periodically. Continued use after publication of changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notifications.

2. Account Responsibilities

Hosts, vendors, and administrators are responsible for maintaining secure, accurate accounts.

2.1 Accuracy

Provide complete and up-to-date information including legal names, contact details, and verification documents when required.

2.2 Security

You are responsible for protecting credentials. Enable session best practices and report suspicious activity immediately via `asedahost@gmail.com`.

2.3 Compliance

All event content must comply with applicable laws, intellectual property rights, and community standards. We reserve the right to suspend accounts for policy violations.

3. Event Creation & Participation

Our platform supports voting, ticketing, and vendor-led experiences under structured guidelines.

3.1 Voting Events

Hosts must provide accurate nominee data, obtain consent, and ensure voting prices and timelines are transparently communicated. Automated or fraudulent voting is strictly prohibited.

3.2 Ticketed Events

Ticket pricing, availability, and venue information must be accurate. Hosts are responsible for honoring purchased tickets and providing support channels for attendees.

3.3 Vendor Events

Vendors operate within designated modules. Inventory, pricing, and service obligations must align with vendor agreements and local regulations.

4. Payments, Wallets & Withdrawals

We partner with trusted payment processors to power secure transactions.

4.1 Payment Collection

Votes and ticket purchases may be processed via mobile money, card, or USSD. Transaction fees and applicable taxes will be disclosed prior to confirmation.

4.2 Wallet Balances

Earnings accrue in host/vendor wallets. Balances are subject to reconciliation and may be adjusted if disputes, chargebacks, or fraudulent transactions arise.

4.3 Withdrawals

Withdrawal requests must meet minimum thresholds, pass verification, and may take up to five business days for processing. A platform fee of 9.92% is deducted from each approved payout, with a minimum of GHS 100.00. Additional security checks may apply.

4.4 Refunds

Refund responsibilities lie primarily with event organizers. We may facilitate refunds where required by law or under our dispute resolution framework.

5. Data Privacy & Security

We prioritize data protection through encryption, secure session handling, and strict access control.

5.1 Personal Data

We collect only necessary data for service delivery. Refer to our Privacy Policy for details on data categories, retention periods, and user rights.

5.2 Security Measures

We implement HTTPS, encryption at rest, session regeneration, and access logging. Do not share API keys, passwords, or OTP codes with third parties.

5.3 Incident Response

In the event of a breach, we will notify affected users and authorities according to applicable regulations and take immediate remediation steps.

6. Intellectual Property & Licensing

Our branding, platform code, and documentation remain the property of AsedaHost. You retain ownership of your uploaded content.

6.1 Usage License

We grant you a limited, non-transferable license to use the platform for event management and participation. Reverse engineering, unauthorized scraping, or resale is prohibited.

7. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraud, or compromise security.

7.1 Notice

We will attempt to provide notice prior to suspension unless immediate action is required to protect users, data, or reputation.

7.2 Appeal

Affected accounts may appeal by contacting `asedahost@gmail.com` within 14 days. Decisions will be reviewed by our compliance team.

8. Liability & Disclaimers

We provide the platform "as is" and disclaim warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law.

8.1 Limitation

Our liability is limited to direct damages up to the fees paid to us in the preceding three months. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

8.2 Force Majeure

We are not responsible for service interruptions caused by events beyond our control, including natural disasters, network outages, or regulatory actions.

9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of Ghana. Disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation prior to arbitration or litigation.
